They were the best coconut macaroons I've ever had (and I've had many); soft and juicy with a wonderful aroma and not too sweet. Oh and I used quark with a fat content of under 1% (I've never seen full-fat quark being sold here in Finland. I think 3,5% is the maximum you can get. Weird!) and it worked perfectly.
