Wrapping up a busy year — A finished book & some travel impressions

While I’m struggling to put the happiness about my third finished cookbook into words (“Sweets” will become available in February, more about it soon), December was far from being the quiet month and -despite best plans- I just didn’t find the time to blog. New projects kept popping up unexpectedly and some of my favorite food blogging friends paid me a visit.

With an ever-growing backlog of wonderful travel experiences in 2012 we pulled together some visual impressions (be warned, some are not for the faint of heart…) from the beautiful city of Athens — a place we fell for head over heels. Happy holidays to you and your family and a fantastic new year!

Thanks Nicky, it was a pleasure to meeting you again and talking about this and that...very enjoyable. Never thought of traveling to Athens. The pics are just beautiful. Especially those from the markets and I really like the one with the Vitra chairs!

Your pictures are gorgeous! and the food looks soooooo good (especially the octopus, hahaha.) what type of camera do you use?
