I have always resisted making granola, for no earthly reason. But a miserable day in Vancouver proved the perfect opportunity to give your recipe a try. I roughly halved the recipe, since I a, the only granola eater in my household. I adapted a couple of tips from Melissa @Travelers Lunchbox: I pulsed my rolled oats to make them a bit more like quick cooking oats, and I also pulverized about a quarter-cup of oats so it was more like oat flour. That has made the granola really
crispy. I love that it is not overly sweet. I think next time I will add dried cherries for a black forest variation. I only thought of the
cherries halfway through baking.

Hi Nicky, I made the every-day-granola -version from your book yesterday evening. So yummy! I added some dried pears (which I bought at Viktualien Markt in late winter), dried peaches as well as lovely dried cranberries. Never ever going to buy granola again. It's so easy to make your own! And the best part of it: you know exactly what's in it. So it's gonna be chocolate granola the next time :)

Habe eigentlich die feinen verwendet. Meine Vermutung: meine Wendemanöver waren bisher ein biÃŸchen zu energisch ;)
Tatsächlich sehen die Ergebnisse von mal zu mal besser aus. Versuch #4 ist schon ganz akzeptabel. Lg aus Österreich.
