They look and sound just like "Bubbie Cookies", cookies my grandmother baked and sent to us in the mail (in a shoebox) several times a year. They are thick poppyseed cookies, not too sweet and hard as a hockey puck. They stay in a low oven (about 275) for about 90 minutes. You sort of suck on them or dip them in tea. Our family loves them.
