I stood there watching them being made, last Sunday, and wanted to ask the baker a couple of questions, but realized I didn't know certain cooking terms in German. For instance where does the dough rise, in that little booth? Anyway, fun to see them made (while consuming one fres from the wood oven).

I have a wood cook stove in my apartment and I have been wanting to try making these--will use your recipe!
