Hi,

In the past,  I have had an enormous number of problems with getting form plugins to work through Yahoos hosting. I would be most gratefull if you could let me know if your plug in has similar problems.

No it doesn't. 

Seriously, with 5.2 you can always specify your own SMTP mail server, which makes you independent of any web hosting provider.
