Please replace the ??? with your data!
- Your URL: http://www.iris-kammerer.de
- The browser used: Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1, MSIE 7.0.5730.11, Safari 3.1.2(525.21)
- cforms version: v8.7
- Your Wordpress version: 2.6.1
Hello, Oliver!
Since today, when I started working on the Tell-A-Friend feature, I am getting a pop-up error message (originated by the browser software) every time I access the cformsII plugin in the administration panel of my WordPress installation.
The message says: "blockUI requires jQuery v1.2.3 or later! You are using v1.2.2".
I checked the file jquery.js in the js-subdirectoy of the cforms plugin, and it says it 's version 1.2.6. So I am wondering what I might have done wrong ...
I tried it on all browsers listed above with the same result.
The plugin still seems to work, but nevertheless the repeating pop-ups are quite annoying.
Thanks or any help! Have a good time!
Iris

cforms doesn't use 'blockUI', so this error msg must stem from some other plugin you perhaps have installed?

Hello, Oliver!
The funny thing ist, this message only occurs with cformsII - even if all other plugins are deactivated ...
BTW: There actually is a jquery.js file in the js-Directory of the cforms plugin-directoy, and it is titled jQuery 1.2.6:
/* * jQuery 1.2.6 - New Wave Javascript * * Copyright (c) 2008 John Resig (jquery.com) * Dual licensed under the MIT (MIT-LICENSE.txt) * and GPL (GPL-LICENSE.txt) licenses. * * $Date: 2008-05-24 14:22:17 -0400 (Sat, 24 May 2008) $ * $Rev: 5685 $ */
I am still testing the T-A-F-feature as well and getting nothing but the copy for the administrator so far ...
Anyway, thanks for your help!
Iris

Have you seen the detailed TAF description on the Help page that comes with cforms?
Did you properly configure the auto confirmation setting?
Yes, jQuery 1.2.6 is being used by cforms, but not the 'blockUI' plugin. However 'blockUI' found its way into your WP, it seems that it doesn't like the newer jQuery instance that cforms uses.

Hi, Oliver!
I activated TAF for every TAF-form *and* for the post I am trying them with, but still I only get the administrator email.
I am about to check and eventually replace *all* jquery.js files in any plugin I installed, since I got the news that some plugin developpers use old versions of js libraries with their plugins instead of linking to the one provided by the WP installation package itself.
Cheers,
Iris

I am getting the same error although Auto Confirmation is disabled. Can you elaborate what are the stages to solve this issue?

If you have the same error, then I guess the same answer applies.
