Before upgrading to WP 2.8, I wanted to make sure that CFORMS10.5 is compatabile.
I love CFORMS!

Hi,
After a lot of testing, found out a conflict in WP 2.8 with Cforms 10.5.2 and SimplePress 4.0.3.
Dashboard javascripts (next to "new post", "screen options" and moving widgets) don't work with both plugins activated (deactivated all other plugins for testing). This only happens on the main admin screen.
Tried define concatenate false in wp-config and still the same.
Tried deactivating Simplepress dashboard widget and still the same.

Thanks for testing…
I just installed WP 2.8 and Simple:Press 4.03 on my test server and it seems to work just fine. I can't reproduce your error.

Have you tried it with IE8 or IE7?
SimplePress 4.0.3 on wp 2.8 works fine. The problem only occurs when SimplePress and Cforms are both activated.
Anyway, I've reverted to 2.7.1. Everything running fine again. I'll wait for wp 2.8.1 and SimplePress 4.1.
Thanks for this great plugin.

I upgraded to 10..52 and WP 2.8.
I have not seen any problems as of yet.
Or seen the conflicts mentioned in the prior post.

I just upgraded to 2.8 and CForms 10.5.2 stops the Dashboard and some pages from loading completely.
I unactivated all plugins and actived them one by one with cforms being the only one that causes problems.

It seems that the majority of the users upgrading to WP 2.8 have no issues.
If you do encounter problems, please be more specific e.g. include Javascript Errors reported by Firefox/Firebug or at least screenshots etc.
Also, certain WP settings may make a difference, you might want to share those too…

I just set up a new site with Wordpress 2.8. No active plugins yet. When I try to activate CForms I get the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/3/r/rufus/www/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_email.php on line 3
I have had a look here:
http://www.deliciousdays.com/c…..#err_parse
But I can't edit the .htaccess file myself so I'm unable to test this.
I'm using the latest version of CForms with patch 10.5.2 (skipped 10.5.1 since I presume it's included in 10.5.2?). I get the error when I try to activate the plugin.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.11 if that means anything.
Hopefully you'll be able to solve it soon :) Thanks for a great plugin, I've been using it on Wordpress 2.7 with great success.

Per the FAQs, can you pls provide a URL pointing to your PHP config?

I'm so sorry. My host for the webhotell stated I had PHP5, but when I investigated it actually says 4.4.8. I'll contact my provider asap.
Sorry to have bothered you, I should have checked it myself.
Thanks.

Still having this issue.
Firebug doesn't detect any JS errors but with Cforms activated the Dashboard looks like this – http://twitpic.com/7syg3. It loads normally – showing QuickPress and Drafts when CForms is deactivated.
What other WP settings could be affecting it?

bl0k, Have you tried not using any wp language files?
I've tried wp 2.8.1 beta + Cforms + SimplePress and it's working without using wp language files, only the SimplePress translation. Both plugins also work with wp language files, but without the SimplePress translation. So, there must be a string conflict.

bl0k,
does that still happen when you disable the cforms module on the dashboard (dashboard setting)?
