Greetings,

I was just wondering if it's possible to insert cforms into a text widget box in wordpress 2.2, I have tried and had no luck at all.

I don't use widgets so I can't give a recommendation on how to use them with cforms.

Bonjour,

J'ai aussi cherché sans succès avec les widgets. La solution que j'ai trouvé est de l'insérer directement dans le fichier sidebar.php avec le code :

<?php insert_cform(); ?>

ça marche là :

Un grand merci à Olivier pour ce magnifique pluggin.

Merci beau coup Olivier.

Although I don't speak more than 3-4 french words, I think I got all of it :-)

Thanks Oliver for posting the php code, but I'm still having the same
problem – nothing is displaying. Are you putting anything else in the
text widget or just the php command?

Can you post (or send via email) an excerpt of the php code you use for "building" the form and inserting it, as well as your form configuration (just use the backup button on the main cforms settings page)?

Thanks for the offer Oliver, but I just noticed that cforms created
a special widget for the sidebar and I was able to insert that.

Thanks though!

Hi – I am tried using the draggable widget that was installed with CForms and it's only give a link to a different site when I drag it onto the sidebar.

I tried inserting just <?php insert_cform('2'); ?> in a text widget and it is showing up blank in the site. Any ideas?

Re: widget: not really.

I assume that you have configured a second form (apart from the default form)? If not you may want to try <?php insert_cform(''); ?> for the default form.

Yes, I have the second contact form working. In fact, I have tried both.

Can you post some of the code around the cforms call? Not sure if this helps to solve the issue, but everything could help I guess…
