Hi Oliver,
Can you tell me why you did all tables in latin2?
Will I have any problems in the future if I will have for example chinese language?

OfflineThe tracking tables are being created according to your MySQL servers default settings. On various test blogs I've setup, they're all UTF-8.

Hi Oliver,
I see you have already released
a new version. After my testing with files that I resived from you the only
thing I nuttiest was the problem with ajax
and "Multi-Recipients" but I see in history that you did something
with it.
I won't to test it but tell
me how can I update my version 4.7 (with your files) to 4.8? I hope I
don't lose all my forms.
Oh and BTW: Where you
keeping all information about forms? In db? If yes in which table?

OfflineTino,
Before you upgrade do two things:
- Make a backup of the old plugin directory
- Make backups of your individual forms (using the BACKUP button)
None of the above is required to do, but it can't hurt and is always advisable!
- Now turn off cforms (this doesn't do anything to the existing cforms data)
- upload/move the new cforms dir in place
- Turn cforms back on!
Depending on your previous version, you might see some information regarding new config settings to be checked. You can (and should) go through the config pages (main page but also 'plugin settings') to see what has changed and where to add information.
Very easy.
P: Data is kept in the wp_options table, form submission data in two cforms specific tables.

OfflineThe settings look alright.
What was the URL again?
Does it also happen with Ajax support turned off?
Does a normal form work?

Oh and now I again have the problem with ' in field firend's.
I have this error:
id='error'>\\n <p class='wpdberror'><strong>WordPress
database error:</strong> [You have an err…")cforms.js (line 1)
eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return(c<a?"":e(parseInt(c/a)))+((c=c%a…

OfflineCan you send the complete DB error msg?
When you remove the ' is it fixed then? Can you post the field label and what type of field it is?
10:04 am
OK, so when I remove ' it works.
Before I updated it to 4.8 it was ok. I have at that time 4.7 with 3 files that you have send to me.
I have two fields:
Friend's email:
Your email:
And I get this error:
id='error'>\\n <p class='wpdberror'><strong>WordPress
database error:</strong> [You have an err...")cforms.js (line 1)
eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(c){return(c<a?"":e(parseInt(c/a)))+((c=c%a...

OfflineIt should work. I've tried to replicate the issue and it's still working for me, both w/ and w/o Ajax.
Can you doube check that you're in fact running the latest v4.8 perhaps re-download and replace (not overwite) the entire plugin dir.
12:32 am
And what about error in earlier post about ' ??
I will try to install the plugin one more time from the begining but can you tell me where you keep in your plugin data about forms that I have already created?

Offlineall plugin form definitions are stored in wp_options.
but you can make BACKUPs with cforms itself, just click the BACKUP button on each forms page…it's easy.
4:46 pm
I have installed fresh version of cform 4.8 and I still have problem with ' if I have friend's in field. Fiernds is OK but fiern's is not. I get this error that is postet above.

OfflineI've taken another look at the code and will make it bullet proof in terms of "single quote" support, it'll end up in v5.0 – I'm happy to send you a beta later today.
11:12 pm
I am happy to hear that.
I will ask you one more
thing. With every e-mail at the bottom, you are adding automatically all
fields that are in a form. I always specify what information I wont in e-mails,
so can you tell me where in code I can delete it?

OfflineI sent you cforms v5 (beta) a little while ago, you should have it already.
The code your looking for is all in cforms.php, search foro $message .= … and comment it out (lines ~393 & ~980).
9:03 am
hmmm I don't now what to say but I didn't get it… I need to check what is going on with my mailbox but can you send it one more time?

do you have a different email address?
Try on this one that I posted in Guest EMail field.
Oh and about validation.
I am using XHTML 1.0 Strict. I get errors conected with inputs that are
hidden. For example:
Error
Line 170 column 113:
document
type does not allow element "input" here; missing one of "p", "h1",
"h2", "h3", "h4", "h5", "h6", "div", "pre", "address", "fieldset",
"ins", "del" start-tag.
...in%20all%20the%20required%20fields."/>
Possible to do something with it?
