Please replace the ??? with your data!

  • Your URL: http://editables.org
  • The browser used: Firefox (latest? ==")
  • cforms version: 7.0
  • Your Wordpress version: 2.3.2

[desc]:
when i submit a form, a weird code appears at the top of my page "function (iterator) { var result = true; this.each(function (value,
index) {result = result && !!(iterator || Prototype.K)(value,
index);if (!result) {throw $break;}}); return result;
}" or something =_=?

 also… when i changed the RECIPIENT email – not the admin email, the form does not send at all. however, if i leave the admin email as is, it sends straight to the admin email.

 help please? ><"

the forms can be found http://editables.org/contact

 thanks !

I tried your forms and always got the green success message, no error message.

I also noticed that you turned of AJax support for the top form? (the two below, due to the upload field revert to non-ajax anyway)

 also… when i changed the RECIPIENT email – not the admin email, the form does not send at all. however, if i leave the admin email as is, it sends straight to the admin email.

..that part I do not understand. What are you trying to do?

When you replace the default admin email with a new one (new form admin/recipient) make sure the new email address is 100% correct.

ekk sorry, i didnt edit my post up there when i was playing around with the forms and new forms etc. i found that anything with the upload boxes doesnt send. ><" im sure the path is correct. when ajax is turned on, it returns this message:

"function (iterator) { var result = true; this.each(function (value,
index) {result = result && !!(iterator || Prototype.K)(value,
index);if (!result) {throw $break;}}); return result;
}"

which you will see if you try to submit the form now O_O" at the very top of the page and it doesnt send the form either ==" (i dont receive it)

the same message and error occurs with the other forms. ._."

(i had two upload forms for good measure XD)

yeah ><" i think theres a problem with the ajax? ._." & also a problem with the upload directory root thing.. is that fixed yet? TT i think someone has the same problem, because mine always says "Cannot find directory !" – even though i`ve tried a billion different ones. However, mine doesn't still save the photos to the directory like the other person, so iuno what to do.

EDIT// i turned off ajax for the upload forms, and they work fine, apart from the error "Warning: copy(/home/editables/public_html/wp-content/gallery/requests/noid-milly.jpg) [function.copy]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/katie/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contactforms/lib_nonajax.php on line 521"

}"

 Ok, I'm seeing it now. Very odd, on first sight this looks like a Protoype library issue (triggered somehow magically by some javascript call cform is making) – funny because I don't even use jQuery or Prototype in cforms for the user front end.

 yeah ><" i think theres a problem with the ajax? ._."

 Could be, you could try to include a Captcha test field to the 1st form, this will help troubleshoot and see if indeed there is an Ajax issue.

EDIT// i turned off ajax for the upload forms, and they work fine, apart from the error "Warning:

The 'upload path error' in the admin console is known and only cosmetic (unless the path really doesn't exist). But your error appears to come up during submission, right?

I'll send you a separate email, I'm sure we'll have it up and running in no time…

Resolved.

The error is related to 'Lightbox JS v2.03.3 Plugin'
which causes directly or indirectly (via other libraries it loads) core
Javascript
functions to behave funny. In this case it breaks the
"for()" loop in conjunction with associative arrays.

Although it really should be fixed by the author of the other
plugin/libaries, I made some adjustments so this will not happen again.
