V5.2 Parse error kills site

Hi Oliver,  I just updated to 5.2 and it killed every page in my site (including wp admin) with:


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/localsus/public_html/wp-content/plugins/contactforms/cforms.php on line 214

Since the entire site blacked out with that error, I couldn't deactivate the plugin, luckily deleting it from the server fixed my site.  Unfortunately I'm working remotely and don't have access to an older version of the plugin until I get home.  So for now we have no contact forms (and we just did a big promo mailing to get people to join… yikes!).

It would be great if you had some older versions of the plugin available for download on your site.

Sorry for the trouble Jim, I must have 'fat fingered' the main file just before upload – it's corrected now.


On a general note: Please deactivate the plugin before upgrading, this way WP's sandbox feature helps to protect your site when trying to activate of flawed plugins. (not that I expect this to happen again)

As always, thanks for the amazing support and customer service.  (If only half the companies in the U.S. were as good as you… ;-) )  The forms are up and running on my site again. Thanks!  Next time you're in Colorado, I'll buy you a beer.
