Great Plugin! I am trying to validate a field as URL, to make sure it is in this URL format: "http://" when submitted (if text is inputted it still passes, where we want it to be rejected, and only accepted when it is a URL inputted).


Can this be done ?

Just put this under Regular Expression for anyone who needs this to work:

^(http\:\/\/[a-zA-Z0-9_\-]+(?:\.[a-zA-Z0-9_\-]+)*\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}(?:\/[a-zA-Z0-9_]+)*(?:\/[a-zA-Z0-9_]+\.[a-zA-Z]{2,4}(?:\?[a-zA-Z0-9_]+\=[a-zA-Z0-9_]+)?)?(?:\&[a-zA-Z0-9_]+\=[a-zA-Z0-9_]+)*)$
