I've now gone through the manual update process several times and am still being told by the plugin that I need to manually update to 10.4.1.  What gives?

Disregard, I finally figured it out.  Just a suggestion – why not lnk the patch to the HUGE 10.4 download graphic?  Among other things, it's rather misleading…  By hiding the patch link above the HUGE graphic, you wasted 1/2 hour my day..thanks.

Count me as part of the 1% then. While I didn't waste half a day, it was driving me nuts (for quite some time) as to why uploading the folder wasn't working. I didn't even see the patch link until I read the above posts. Now the BIG update info on the plugins page is gone. Truly, you ought to make the patch text more noticeable. Or make the link (on the plugin page of WP) go to the patch.
