Hi,

I'm using cforms inside of a div. this div is toggeled and faded via jquery. so everythings fine! Now i wanna toggle the div also when the for is send successful. like when the message appears form is sent wait 1 second and then toggle the div. Is that pssible?_

yes and yes. it may take a jQuery event hook on the submit button, that triggers a functions "X" that in turn check on the success message field for whether or not a successful msg has been returned (keyword). since you'll never know if the network delay takes more than 1,2 or 5 seconds I recommend to use a timer and recall that function X like 10 times, each after a second to check on the result.

thanks for Your reply! I allready got it working. I simply use the internal configuration to be redirected to a page. I'm usig the same URL so that the page simply reloads, and the form dissappears, cause it's not visible on pageload.

Is there a way to change the time when You'll be redirected? So that I can say, wait 5 seconds, so that the user's got the time to read the "message successfully sent!" …

there are two other small problems. In the admin message and email options the "FROM: email address" field is red backgrounded af if there's a problem. same when I try to add the captcha field to the form. when i receive the email in my emailclient there's no from address. and the captcha field is not visible on the page at all!

nope. otherwise it wouldn't be a alternative success page, but perhaps an additional ;-)

i really need to change that color. it's only meant to highlight the field since it is considered a "special field"…
