[desc]: _ When unchecking the "activate auto confirmation" en checking it again all my messages where lost. When restoring a backup of that particular form I only get error messages and the complete form is gone. PLease help because now my production server is also affected.

- what "messages" and how are they lost?
- restoring from a corrupt backup file can do this (see your other thread for more hints)

Hi Oliver,
With messages I mean the message in txt and html that is send as confirmation. I think. For some forms I have pretty extensive messages. I don't think they should get lost by simply unchecking the auto confirmation checkbox. Look upon this as a bug report.
I have restored my forms now by replacing the cforms_settings from an sql backup.

lucky you! I've seen many cases where this would corrupt settings…
