I have asked most plugin authors if their plugin is compatible with 2.5.1. when a 2.5.1. or 2.5.x specific version is not available. They all seem to work fine together.

I am also using the Options Theme.

Problem: The Tiny MCE button doesn't show up by default. I toggled the settings and it doesn't change that. So I had to disable it. Is there any way to make the button work?

It works per default.

The question is why isn't is working for you. Have you cleared your browser cache and restarted your browser (make sure button is active -> global-settings!)?
