  • The URL: http://
  • Browser (and version): Firefox & IE
  • cforms version: 6
  • possibly other plugins that might interfere:
    • no
  • Do you get an error message (e.g. use Firebug):
    • no

The text in the captcha image not fully viewable.

Example :

 In image 1 – the last alphabet is either 'g' or 'q'

In image 2 – the first alphabet is either 'a'. 'g' or 'q'

Any advise. Thanks in advance.

Right. Have you tried the captcha reset button?

Yes, sometime OK but most of the time, it appears that way. Would this be a little troublesome for the visitors to reset each time this type of overlap text appears?

Is there anyway to make the box bigger so that the text can fit in the box.

 Please advise. Thanks

Check out cforms-captcha.php.

$img_sz_width  = 115;
$img_sz_height = 25;
$min_font_size = 17;
$max_font_size = 19;

…are  the variables you want to play with.

I too am having this issue; while I did alter the above variables, save it and send it back, it doesnt seem to be changing the box?

$img_sz_type = 0;

$img_sz_width = 115;

$img_sz_height = 95;

I guess it just as easy to use what you do Oliver, a simple math equation, might you tell me where to set that up? Also, how did he get his reload button to look like that, mine is blank white?

Txs for all…

The math questions or more generically Q & A settings you'll find in Global Settings, further, your form needs to include a Q&A field to then make use of your settings.

Re. captcha: perhaps double check if those variables are really adjusted in the online file, because they do work.

Right. And you can add more lines, e.g.

2+2=4
two plus two=4
etc.

Note, that you need to go back to your form config page and add a new input field, with the type: Visitor Verification (Q&A).
