Hello Paul & Oliver,
My Problem:
Someone has used my Tell A Friend Form to send out spam to a lot of email addresses.
My Question:
Is it possible to limit the MY FRIENDS NAME field so that only one email address can be added at all ?

OfflineOdd. For exactly that reason, cforms only accepts one email address as input. Wonder, how the spammer could in fact abuse it, to send (in one go) spam to multiple recipients…can you double check that?
Or did the spammer use the form over and over again, which can't really be prohibited unless you use eg. .htaccess control mechanisms.

Hi, I have the same problem. It seems all you have to do is enter multiple email addresses in the the "Friends Email" field and the message goes out to all.
Is there a Regex that we can use to limit the allowed number of email addresses, or perhaps one that will strip comma and replace it with a space?
I would also like to strip out special characters from the message field – to prevent the spammers from sending urls / links.
Thank you!

Sorry, meant to say: It seems all you have to do is enter multiple email addresses separated by a comma in the the "Friends Email" field and the message goes out to all.

OfflineThanks for raising this, I'll take a look as soon as I can and will release an update once verified and fixed.
