This site was originally developed on another server.. where the sucessful submission message shows up properly… once we moved it to its permanent home, there's been all kinds of wonky behavior.

In this case, if a user submits a message through a form, the "Thank You" message does not show up.. instead a light grey bar only. I've searched the forum and FAQ with no luck.. if someone could help, that'd be great!!!

try turning off ajax or try showing the credits line underneath the form, does that make any difference?

When I turn off ajax, the thank you message still doesn't appear.

It could be an

  • incompaitlibity with another plugin
  • a server or .htaccess setting interfering
  • or a code change in cforms (in case you played around with it)

what is apparent is that cforms doesn't get control over the submission, ie. it can't verify neither success nor error….looks like a general $_POST issue of some sort

I tried your js/cforms.js fix and it did not work.

Oddly enough, the email gets sent.  But the viewer sees only "One Moment Please"

This is ON FIREFOX only   No problem on IE

Would v10 fix this.

Presently, I am running 2.6.5 wp with v9
