I started using CForms and love it…however, my client has requested that the forms I am creating submit their data to a SOAP webservice.
Is this possible with CForms?
I assumed that using the "Send form data to an alternative page:" option in the form admin would help with this but wanted to clarify a few issues.
- Can CForms still handle the field validation through AJAX if this option is used?
- Would I need to modify or add anything to allow the form to submit to a SOAP web service?
Hi everybody !
I have same problematic,
Andy, do you find a solution for SOAP webservice with CForms.
Thanks a lot
Yep, it's very possible to use CForms for SOAP transactions. I've done it a couple of different ways, but the method you use will depend on your endpoint requirements. If it's a .Net based endpoint, you'll probably want to use a cURL based method method like this: CForms to MethodCRM: Getting dirty with SOAP
If it's not strict, you can just use SoapClient in your myfunctions.php instead:
Hope that helps.
