Hi,
FIrst I have to say that this plugin is EXACTLY what I was looking for, so thank you very much
I am currenty using Firefox 2.0.0.4 and instaled wordpress and the plugin at http://www.auntychitchat.com
I downloaded the latest version of cforms and customized it to fit the sidebar, but being the idiot I am, did not test to see if it works first.
The problem is that the form just doesnt word. In fact, in the settings, I have the popups enabled and have the success page redirecting to google just to test it out. I disabled the image uploading thinking maybe that was just not working, but even then its a no go

Alright, so when I completely remove the image upload feature, it works beautifully. But if the upload box is there, it doesnt work even if I dont upload anything

ANd while ur at it, if you could tell me how I could move the "Browse" button to go on the next line, I'll really appreciate it
Sorry for the multiple posts

I can't see any error messages, it appears to be loading the post #1 as opposed to going to the front page (where it would show the sidebar)
- have you entered a redirection page?
- is the email field set to "Is Email" where the form is defined?
- can you turn on DB Tracking to see if the submission is recorded (incl. attachment)?
- even though you don't see the success page, do you get the admin email?
- If you've not set the page redirection, can you try to set it to:
http://www.auntychitchat.com
The browser button is browser specific, there is little you can do to change that. Limited CSS is possible, but will be interpreted by the different browsers completely different. In some you can't event make it smaller than what it is (without major hacks that is)

Thanks for the reply, even though its a Sunday
I had it set to redirect to Google. Now I have changed it to my website.
Even though it goes to another post, I do not receive an admin email.
The attachments are not uploaded in the default directory as set.
If I completely remove the uploading feature, then everything works perfectly. I get the admin emails and it goes to google as I want it to. But as soon as I add this feature, it does not work.
I also noticed that everytime I try, it jumps to a different post, I dont know if that means anything at all, but maybe it might help u think of why this issue is happening.

OfflineDoes the form work outside of the sidebar, have you tried it in a post or on a separate page?
The problem (I think) has to do with the fact that the permalink for the main site is not properly recoginzed.
Can you trie to set the specific form action (see Redirect form data to
an alternative page:) to http://www.auntychitchat.com and try again?

Beautiful! Once I changed the form action, it worked properly.
I dont lose anything by keeping it like that do I?
Thanks a lot!

OfflineIt'll be fine like that, all you do is overwrite the logic that should tell form the page to which the plugin should return and send the form data – for some reason this didn't work for you. Hence the workaround with a "fixed" action target.
