Hi, I've got most things working with cforms II 5.0 but I'm noticing some strange things maybe others are running into as well.
First, on the message e-mailed to the form recepient (me), I get this strange line at the end of the message:
Message from: Your Name
Submitted on: June 30, 2007 @ 12:47 am
By xx.xx.xxx.xxx (visitor IP)
Test, no cc
——=ME_BOUNDRY_main_message–
This is the strange text at the end, the ME_BOUNDRY line. I get this with every message. I left the HTML Admin text blank because it wasn't working, I would just get the HTML codes in the e-mail instead of actually affecting the text using MS Outlook.
The other related problem is when the user gets the auto confirmation, their message is truncated like so:
Dear Your Name,
Thank you for your note!
We will get back to you as soon as possible
>>> Original Message:
Test, no
This is the same message as above, so it should be "no cc" but I just get no. Are these problems related? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Edwin

OfflineThis seems to be related to how the (admin or CC'ed) email is being viewed, ie. which email client you use and how it interprets the email including both TXT and HTML information.
For testing, can you use a different email client (e.g. Thunderbird, gmail, yahoo etc.) to see if these also show a "broken" email messag. If they don't it seems there is an issue with Outlook – are you using Outlook or Outlook Express?
Can you forward one of those "broken" emails to my email account (I sent you an email)?

Hi Oliver,
I think you are correct, I am using Outlook 2007. It seems to work okay using other clients, (Yahoo, web based) so maybe it's Outlook specific. I got your e-mail and will forward one of each broken message to you. Thanks!

OfflineRight, I noticed that Outlook (prior to 2007) already has a funny way of handling HTML emails (see new thread I opened), however Outlook 2007 apparently is going a whole new direction with displaying and processing HTML emails – so I've read.
Unfortunately this makes O 2007 non compliant with many applications and M$ has already gotten lots of bad press about it. I'll forward to you my patched (v5.1) version that at least runs on Outlook (<2007) – perhaps it'll work on 2007 as well – it's worth a shot.
