Hi Oliver!

Recently updated everything in my blog, downloaded the new released cformsII, double checked everything about de abspath, and the mentioned class.smtp.php, but still displying this error when trying to send the message:

SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host

and this:

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to ssl://mail.munal.com.mx:465 (Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" – did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?) in /home/munal/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/cforms/phpmailer/class.smtp.php on line 122

Sorry to bother you, what can possibly be the problem? Confused

it appears that you have enabled SSL etc. encryption with the SMTP settings, yet your provider doesn't allow you to do that.

check with your provider, either you don't need SSL etc. or they can turn it on for you.
