Please can you let me know whether or not it is possible for information sent from the contact form to be attached to the email as an xml attachment, so the data can be imported directly into a telephone program?

I would like the client information to also be contained as text within the body of the email as usual, just with the addition of the xml attachment. This would need to be automatic.

Also, would it be possible for these emails and xml attachments to generate a unique id/reference number, ie. so each xml file would be ABC0001, ABC0002, etc?

I am guessing this may need some custom coding, but as I have very little knowledge or experience in this area I would be greatly if you could point me in the right direction. Any help in knowing what would be required to carry out this project would be very much appreciated.

It is software, anything is possible. ;-)

Problem is you can design your admin email anyway you like using different means (direct editing of message via UI) or via my-functions.php (and using the logic routine), but you can't attach that data, it'd be inline.

but I like the idea…I'll put it on the wish list…
