cForms II Version = 10.1

Hi,

I am having problems with replacing the WordPress comments form with the cForms form. Everytime a comment is submitted, the comment is emailed to the Admin (me) and not displayed or registered in wp-admin. I've tried disabling and re-enabling Ajax but still doesn't work. 

Steps taken:

1. Installed and activated plugin

2. Created a new form, and set the form preset to : Advanced: WP-Comment Form Feature

3. Switched to WordPress default theme

4. Updated the comments.php with the one found within the plugin: plugins/cforms/cforms-example-comments.php.txt

5. Updated the PHP insert to: insert_cform(1);

I've been through the forum and the manual but still can't seem to be getting it working correctly.Therefore, I would really appreciate any help you can offer.

Thanks for the info.

You can turn Ajax back on, but make sure to configure the WP comment feature options in "global settings".

Did you actually enable the WP comment feature (it may not have done it as part of the preset install – which it should have of course)

Also make sure that TAF is not selected.

Thanks Oliver.

I've made sure the WP-Comments field is enabled , and also the TAF option is disable by default. Everything appears to be fine.

Do you have any further suggestions? I've also diasabled the other plugins to ensure there is no conflict.

The reason I mentione to check the WP comment feature option is that your form points to

/2008/12/fast-cars/#usermessagea

while it should point to …lib_WPcomment.php

I may have an idea…try

insert_cform();

instead of

insert_cform(1);
