My forms suddenly started misbehaving. First the formatting disappeared, which I'm fine with for the moment. But the real problem is the redirect. It was working perfectly, and now when someone presses "enter," they're redirected to "#usermessageXX" . I use forms for a giveaway, and readers are complaining they're not sure if their entries went through.

For example, http://leitesculinaria.com/12678/giveaways-equipment-all-clad-cookware.html . The user is redirected to http://leitesculinaria.com/12678/giveaways-equipment-all-clad-cookware.html#usermessage8a. They're supposed to redirected to http://leitesculinaria.com/thank-you.

My developer, who set this up for me, is away, and I'm not exactly sure what to do. I did read the FAQ, but much of it is confusing.

Looks like you need to pick/define a cforms theme. It currently doesn't show anything, like you had a custom styling and removed it.

re: redirection, check you form configuration  "Redirect options:"  and URL provided.

Oliver,

Re: redirection, all were set properly. I unchecked the box, cleared the address, and redid it. Still the same.

Re: picking/defining a theme, I go to the page,

click on the "select theme" button and nothing happens. The page just reloads. No change to the forms.

looks indeed ok. perhaps your developer changed something in the code (e.g. core files or my-functions.php) – he could have made that modification when he removed the credit line underneath the form.

very odd, but you do see all the available themes and your current one is picked (at least in admin UI)?

I'll take a look at this files, see if I can see anything.

No, there is no list of available themes. it's like everything disappeared.

then it appears to be an install issue. you may have to reinstall and make sure that filefolder permissions are properly set
