When auto-confirmation (on forms) and SMTP server (on global settings) are activated, both CC recipient and sender receive auto-confirmation message.

Isn't it a bug to be solved ?

I can't replicate that. Are you using any specific cforms config option, e.g. "TAF" or the "WP comment feature"?

Neither T-A-F or Comment feature are used.
