I've absolutely never had a problem with this plugin, but today, trying to install it on a client's site, I'm getting this:

parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}'

I have reuploaded the file twice, making sure it wasn't corrupted, but still am getting the same error…any idea what's going on?

I don't know, but after reading the other post like mine, I bet it's 4 and that's the problem…sorry for not reading that part, I have just used this plugin so many times, I didn't think to read the install notes.  I will double check the version and if it isn't 4, I'll post back and let you know.

I have also gotten a parse error on install:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/cijerks/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_email.php on line 3

I am running php versin: 5.2.5

I tried installing w/o the two patches, and I got this error.  Then I tried with the two patches, still same error.  I have used this plugin before on other servers. However, I'm not sure it's the newest version.

I've done some searches.  Seems like a lot of people have had the problem, but I haven't found any fixes.
