Hi,
although i receive email from Wordpress when i post a comment via my cforms WP Comments form,
i get this error when trying to post a Private Message (note to author) and nothing is happened:

note the red line (an error ?) that is appeared on top of the form after i click Submit.
P.S: i tried the SMTP option in cforms, but yet i get that red line when i click Submit.
thanks in advance.

it is giond weird !
when i use Firefox, the ajax is not working and when i click the Submit button, the browser tends to submit and then wants to load this URL:
"………./wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_WPcomment.php?cfemail=err#cformsform"
and unexpectedly i receive an email containing the private comment i submitted via cforms at me email (it means it works !)
but when i use another browser in which the Ajax is working, i get that Red error line which i attached it's picture and no emails are being sent and i receive nothing.

As i said it just works when you are sending regular comments (choosing the first radio button which says "as comment "). i have received the two test comments you wrote.
but it does not work when you want to post "Private Message" by choosing the second radio button.
Thanks,

you're right, something is causing issues when sending the comment/email to the post author. could be a form setting.
does a default form work fine?
what happens when you disable Ajax for this form?
EDIT:
You're right there is a bug, which will be fixed in patch 2 (10.5.2) – let me know if you'd like to receive an upfront patch via email

Hi,
I'm having the same problem:
- Using a contact page works fine
- Sending comments works fine but
had to change A comment from {Your Name} to A comment from {cauthor}
the post owner receives the wp comment notification in plain text with links to moderate options and I the admin receive the cForm's blue background html notification.
- Sending an email to the post's owner gives the red bar as in Madhi's image but I don't ever receive an email
- Turning off Ajax simply stalls the process: I click on submit and the loading bar activates, when it reaches the end it restarts, the cycle takes about 4-5 minutes.
I though I would add this as you have asked what happened when disabling Ajax.
Regards,
Eric
