Hi there,

I am having the exact same problem with the multiple recipients fields as described in this topic: http://www.deliciousdays.com/c…..s-problem/

In a nutshell, although the emails are delivered to the right person, the form itself lists the actual recipient as the one before the intended person. So, if an email is sent to the Sewing Editor, it does get delivered to the Sewing editor, but the email body says that it was sent to the Stamping editor (who is next to the Sewing editor).

Since the post you referred to contains the solution, I suppose it fixes it for you, too.

If not: there are quite some entries in that drop down, can you setup a simple form with only 3 or 4 entries to test and to see if it is not just a config issue?

What cforms version are you on?

Thanks for the reply. I am on cforms 10.5.2

The solution contained in that post doesn't help. By putting a "Please Choose" with the value transmitted as "-" only pushes the counter by 1. It would work if the user couldn't select Please Choose itself, but that is not the case. The user can select Please Choose from the drop down as "-" is a valid value to be transmitted even though it is a required field.

I am having the same problem and it is driving me crazy. The form works, the person chosen in the form receives the email, but the email body shows the recipient to be the previous person in the form label.

my form is set up like so:

Recipient#Please select recipient|-#Cari|"cari@xxxxx.net"#Rob|"rgg@ xxxxx.net"#Ryan|"rmr@ xxxxx.net"#Stephen|"stephen@ xxxxx.net"

it is a "multiple recipients" form field

under Admin Email Message Options, I have:

csg@ xxxxx.net,rgg@ xxxxx.net,rmr@ xxxxx.net,stephen@ xxxxx.com

in the Admin email address(es) field

When I select "stephen" and submit the form, it does indeed go to stephen, but in the body of the email the recipient is listed as "Ryan"!

I am using cforms 10.6 (downloaded and installed today) and WP 2.8.3.

ugh, slight formatting problem above…I replaced the real email addresses with xxxxx and it looks like I added a space…I can assure you the space  in formatting is not the problem I am having on my site, in case you were wondering. :)

did you configure the field to be 'required', otherwise 'Please select recipient' will match up with the first admin email address.

also, no need to provide values to the options:

Recipient#Please select recipient|-#Cari#Rob#Ryan…is fine
