Hi,

When I add an additional email (or just change from the admin email) the form doesn't send. Instead of the form hiding after submission and my message appearing, the form stays, but is empty and nothing sends. I have tried two different emails and have tried with just one (not the admin)

Any suggestions?

how did you enter the second email?

does the second email by itself work?

can you try different emails?

  • The issue has very likely to do with either a local mail server problem, a malformed email address or a general issue with the PHP function mail();
    • if the latter is the case and your blog is using wp_mail(); you may want to try and enable cforms' SMTP/phpmailer support. – how do I enable that?

I entered the second email like this a.suffredini@me.com, tlc@dphs.com

the second email does not work by itself

no other emails work

Check your PHP servers mail() function – what am I looking for?

may have to ask you provider if they support PHP's mail() function and if there are any specific settings required (search this forum for godaddy post on exactly that topic, too)

Can you check your mail servers log files? – for what?

for errors

cforms' SMTP/phpmailer support. – how do I enable that?

cforms Global Settings (may have to ask your mail provider for SMTP settings, login/password, host etc.)

the second email does not work by itself no other emails work

it seems like the mail server rejects then certain emails, again check the mail server log files or with you provider as to why certain addresses do not work.
