Please replace the ??? with your data!

[desc]:

Hi! Thanks a lot for a great form plugin. And also for your support
here helping me solve my problems (though I had to empty cache several
times to make a submission).

I have one question, though:

In a while I'll be moving my WP installation from dolcevita.no/wp to dolcevita.no - and I wonder what I will have to adjust.

Is it just tje path in cforms/js/cforms.js - to remove the /wp in the start of this line:

var sajax_uri = '/wp/wp-content/plugins/cforms/lib_ajax.php';

...or are there also other steps?

I'm planning to leave most WP files in the wp directory, just put the index.php etc in the root folder to get rid of the /wp in my URLs)

Thanks,
Kjetil

PS Where's the "please consider registration" button here in the forum?

Sorry, that's confusing, I should remove that line. This is an open forum, no membership required.

Removing the /wp, is all you need to do from a cforms point of view.

Thanks - everything's easier when you Know.

A little feedback: I've got some kind of error message each time I've made a new form, stating that cforms has tried to update the cforms/js/cforms.js . without telling if it went well or not. So I tried to give the file full permissions (777) without the message going away. A little confusing but no big deal since I made things work after adjusting the path in there with a /wp up front.
Just thought i should inform you

By the way: Possible to subscribe to threads? It is on my SP forum

Thanks again

Kj

The cforms/js/cforms.js related message is just informational and let's you know that the plugin attempted to fix this file in case cforms detects that your blog has a "URL prefix".
755 should do by the way.

There is a RSS feed/button a the end of each thread that you can subsribe to.

Similar to this question, I am setting up a test Web site using WP but will be moving it to a new domain soon. When I do, will I lose my form? Or is there some way to save it and move it with me? Because it's a looooong form, and I'd really rather not recreate it if I don't have to...

Thank you!

Kristan

individual forms: that's what the backup and restore buttons are for... :-)

The global settings you'll have to configure again.
