Hi – maybe this is a WP forum question, but maybe useful to users here as well:

After moving to a new host, all settings are lost – including all my forms. I've tried to search a bit witout luck, but: It seems like just the basic blog contents – and not contents nor settings conected to plugins are transfered. (This also counts for all contents of eg our SimplePress forum.) I've used the Export/Import feature in WP.

Is this normal? How should I transfer all data, including settings, setups etc?

Hi

Just wanted to inform you that the site migration worked fine. Dolcevita.no is now moved from one server to an other, with all forms included.

For cforms its Export function is …!!!

But I also had to make a COMPLETE export of the database on the old server. DB Manager normally does the job, but in our case I had to ask our old host to make a database dumb (.sql) for us to get all settings – which WP's own Export function won't give you. Might be useful to know for others to know as well.
