Please replace the ??? with your data!
[desc]: _Hi….remember me? lol. I had the large file upload problem months ago, and we got i all fixed. Well, I had been in the hospital for about 4 months, and when I got out I upgraded everything and now cforms won't work for large file uploads again. Did anything change on large file uploads since July?
The problem last time we discovered was that I didnt allow enough memory overhead for cforms to run. Now IVe tried many things. Cforms workd for normal form submission, and small files. But when trying to upload a 100Mb file I get timed out again. This happens in FF and IE. To prevent the problem of running out of memory, Ive adjusted my php settings to allow for 600Mb of memory/file upload size. And Ive set cforms limit at the same. I cant seem to figure the problem. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

What was the old version number again? I can then make a diff against it and see what has changed, although I suspect that this area of the plugin remained the same.
Are smaller files still working? Up to what size?
Have you double checked your file upload settings after the upgrade?
Do you still have a backup of the old plugin folder? Does it work again when you switch back?

unfortunately I don't have the version number. All I can say is it is whatever version was current on July 31st. Sorry if that is no help. Smaller files do upload. I've tested up to 3Mb so far

So it seems it's not a general upload issue, but one again connected with the size of the file.
Do you still have a copy of the old cforms folder? Per your statement above, I assume no, which is not good – you shoud always keep it the old folder at least until the new version is up and running.
You can try downloading an older version from the WP website (other versions link).

Ill try an old version. Is there anything special Ill need to do to rever to an 8.x version of cforms?
Also, just some things Ive noticed….Ive tried to upload the file 3 times, it is 99.0Mb. In my tmp folder I have 3 files, 30.5, 31, and 43Mb.
And finally instead of getting a blank page like I got before I get a timeout page. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
NOTE- I believe the last version I had of cforms that worked correctly was 8.6.1 And I went to the WP site to DL an older version of cforms, but only the 2 most recent versions are available… nothing from the 8.x series,
Again, thanks for your time

From 9x to 8x the only way is to start from scratch, unless you have a DB backup that still has the old cforms_XXX settings stored in the wp_options table.
I can send you 8.6.1, but check first if you have the old cforms_settings… stored somewhere, otherwise you'd have to start from scratch.
I currently don't have much to do indepth diff on v8.x and v9.3 to see what has changed, but to my knowledge that area has been untouched.

Hm. Last night my file got 72MB worth up, then 42 again
so….just for fun, I reall upped the max file size/memory settings, then the max input time.
then I got 80MB worth, then 42 again. I wonder what's with the different sizes being allowed?

- Could it be a server hickup?
- Something that was changed on the server, perhaps by your provider?
- Also, did you have a custom php.ini in your cforms folder?
- Did we change anything in the core file of your old version that may not be in v9.3?
Just a few things I can think of.
