Is It Possible to Ignore Default Field Values for Validation
November 16, 2012

I am new to cforms and love the plugin. It is proving to be more than just a time saver.

I would like to know if it is possible for the validator to ignore the default values I have set in the fields? Currently none of my fields are undergoing validation because they already have acceptable values in them. Is there a work around for this?

Thanks so far

For me this worked, use a regular expresion:

Field = Last name (required)

Then I would add:

Last name|Last name|[^Last name]
