[desc]: We've been using CForms for a while for photo submissions through e-mail.  It has worked perfectly. 

Last week, I upgraded to WP 2.6.1 and the latest version of CForms.  All of a sudden, photos are arriving in damaged condition.  About half of the photo will render, with the bottom half black.

Because of the volume of photos (and other e-mails generated thru CForms — for example, a recent contest generated 120,000 e-mails) we receive, we do NOT keep copies of the submissions in a database — they are just sent as e-mails.

Any ideas here?  This is a critical problem for us as we get a lot of photos.

That's odd, one would think that images would either be delivered or not. Never heard of "half images".

General ideas:

  • make sure there is plenty of tmp space for PHP to fully upload the file
  • make sure you have enough space in your destination folder
  • PHP memory settings for large file transfer
