I noticed that I was getting a little icon (yellow triangle with an exclamation point) in the lower right corner of IE7 and the message "Error on Page". There is no problem reported using Firefox. I started deactivating my Plugins, one at a time, and the icon went away when I deactivated CForms and reappeared when I reactivated it. It also goes away when I deactivate the PixoPoint Multi-level Menu (Version 1.6.2) plugin and returns when I reactivate. So it appears that the two plugins have a conflict when they are both activated at the same time.
Any ideas?
Follow Up: A response from plugin author on PixoPoint forum here. Quote follows:
"I've downloaded it (CForms) and it looks like they are not enqueueing their scripts correctly.
The 1.0.x series of the Multi-level Navigation Plugin also added scripts in this way, the problem is that when another plugin uses the same script (jQuery presumably in this case), the two plugins clash as they both try to load it. The enqueue method ensures that only one copy is loaded, not one for each plugin."

Hi,
Ryan here from PixoPoint.
I just a quick rifle through a file or two and saw a bunch of scripts being added directly so assumed they weren't being enqueued. I'll have another look and see if I can figure out where the clash is coming from. It would be nice if our plugins worked well together :)

I jumped the gun here a bit. What I said was geared towards the admin interface – not the 'client' side.
For the client side, cforms popup date picker comes bundled with the lastest jQuery using the noconflict option).

Ah, that makes more sense then :)
I think you have added the raw script by hand though, which doesn't leave me any way to add support for it within my own plugin. I'll take another look and see if I can figure out a way to get it working from my end.
If I can detect the presence of the newer jQuery version being loaded by your plugin, then I should be able to deactivate the new version within my own plugin and just use yours (hopefully). I assume my plugin will work fine with a newer version of jQuery.
I'll post back once I've looked into it further.

I thought using the jQuery 'noconflict' option would allow (certainly not an optimal approach, but..) in worst case to run two (different) jQuery instances next to each other?
The order in which the libraries are added may also make a difference.

Any updates on this?
I absolutely love Suckerfish menu and also CformsII they are two of the best plugins you can get, so its a shame that the date picker is causing issues and they cant play together nicely :(
