Firefox is the browser, http://www.annamaywongsociety.com/blog , cforms IIv5, few addtional plugins.

Hi from a well known food guy transformed to an unknown web guy. I have read up on your forum and feel I should stop now to confer with you. I have no visibiltiy of cforms on the page (Blog Us) I have tried to put it on. The intent is to give the public the ability to post thier own blog on the site even if that means myself copying and reposting the content. The page I wanted to put it on was specific for cforms only. I stopped trying and deleted all but your plugin because I have changed so many things that say no no no in css xhtml checks (all in the sidebar) but I have got the sidebar where I need it. If there is a conflict that can not be overcome can your contact form be located on a linked remote page. Hope you can help. I had a very well known restaurant in Aspen for many years. David

Hello David,

cforms should fit nicely into your sidebar. Go to the Styling menu and choose the "sidebar-layout" theme, this should give you a good start – more tweaking will be necessary (form width, label and input field width), but nothing major.

Note, to have the form show up in the sidebar, you need to add the proper PHP cforms call in the sidebar PHP template (see Help page for an example).

PS: We just drove by Aspen (or close to anyway) as part of our recent trip – nice patch to live, no doubt!

Great to hear from the brink of fame Oliver. Maybe through Glenwood Springs? They just announced a study saying some four counties in my area will grow 40 percent in the next 10 years. Hummm….maybe those mountain gondolas will have people commuting home to condos hanging off cliffs!

My hope is to still place cforms on its own tabbed blog page but am really encouraged to seek and find the way since you suggest things are straight so far. When I get this rocky road of set up out of the way I really have to come over here and see what Mr. Oliver and Friends really can do with the more general task of bringing a web site to the world.

Thanks so much, David

Ski + ZG=(those that know code for) Ski Aspen. Now that's math!
