Please replace the ??? with your data!

  • Your URL: http://???
  • The browser used: ???
  • cforms version: ???
  • Your Wordpress version: ???

I want to build a wizard like flow of steps with a cform in each step. How do I prevent the different cforms to send the admin email?

Approach:

Page 1 has form #1 and an "alternative success page"

The "alternative success page" is Page 2

Page 2 has form #2 with an "alternative success page" etc

My plan is to handle each form post in the my-functions.php file and communicate between the pages by using the php session and / or the database.

best regards johan

cforms hasn't been designed from ground up to handle nested or multi-stage forms. Hence, while it is possible to find workaround and way to get it accomplished cforms still perceives one form/one submission to be a transaction and will send the email.

You can't currently avoid that, unless you simply send the email to a 'black hole', or edit the code directly to neglect sending the email for certain forms.
