Did they indeed ask for the clickable link, because they want the link or were they asking because they actually want the FROM: address to be the users address.

The latter is possible by simply adding {Email} to the FROM: field in the admin message settings.

If not, your approach is correct.

you mean in the 'blue data block' in the admin email? you can of course create your own complete block/template and thus add the link around the field value. you'd then need to turn off 'Include user input at the bottom of the admin email'

correct. that's why I usually don't recommend it. but the customer is king – as we say here in Germany. ;-)

I don't have a problem with the From address being my admin email. I also don't have a problem, and actually like, that the reply-to field is the submitters email.

But my client just also wanted the Email that is in the main body of the form to be a live link as opposed to a non-live email address.

which can be easily done by providing a custom form template (which goes into the "header part" of the email and sort of mimicks the default table)
