I recently moved my wordpress site to a new directory and my cforms did not work properly (only got an hour glass when hitting the submit button). I changed the cform.js file to also include the domain name in the sajax_uri. The form seems to work now, but I notice the from email is defaulted as my admin email. I thought it was something different before. Is this what the default FROM email usually is? Is there a correct way to change this so it looks like it's coming from the website? _
The FROM address can be configured to anything you like it to be, just keep in mind, that your mail server may reject it and refuse to relay the email.
Each form can have its own FROM address, look under email settings.
