This is just a great plugin. Awesome presets. Very helpful for newbies like me with little programming knowledge. 

 

Have the following Queries:

1) How many forms to the maximum I can have per installation?

2) Can you bring in a preset for Quotation Estimator?

Hi!

 

I haven't seen any limitations per se, but let us know if you hit a limit :-)

 

re: 2) unlikely, as there would be too many permutations of forms handling quotations for all kinds of services/products/industries.

hi there,

thanks for the great plugin… I'm using it on a site that has to be online by tonite ;)

I'm using the forms to submit details of various products on the shop-like site… now it looks like

I hit a limit at 281 forms… all further forms will not be listed in the forms-dropdown in admin view…

neither is there a 282 button appearing…..

 

any idea/help how to be able to create further forms??

here a more detailed description of my problem:

 

as stated above, when created the form number 281, cforms let me duplicate/create new forms, although when clicking on "update settings", the new form wasn't saved and just disappeared in the admin section of cforms, neither did it display the new form in the dropdown menus.

 

the only error message after clicking update settings was this one:

It seems that you have recently upgraded cforms please check the new file upload/attachment relevant settings below! You can ignore the message if you're not using any file upload field(s).

 

…but there is no upload/attachment field in any of my forms.

I checked the abspath settings, but that seems to be working.

 

I thought that I solved the problem by backing up all cforms data, completely removing the cforms plugin (by clicking remove cforms under global settings). then I redownloaded cforms, installed a fresh copy and restored all settings which I exported before that.

Just then, it seemed to work adding/duplicate forms!! but unfortunately just up to form number 292. There it stopped working again, same problem as described above.

 

I contacted the webhoster (it's a shared hosting), but there don't seem to be any limitations on the database or anything similar that could cause this behaviour……

 

any idea how to solve this before my client starts chocking me? innocent cause i really still like to promote this plugin, cause it's got way superiour usability compared to others out there!

I now also checked with firebug for error messages,

when clicking "update settings" on any altered form or newly duplicated form, I get

this error in cformsadmin.js:

 

t.parentNode is undefined eval(function(p,a,c,k,e,d){e=function(…0|Connection|Error'.split('|'),0,{}))

 

I don't know if that could have anything to do with the problem described above though… anyone?
I checked my .htaccess and it's fine according to the FAQ.

looks like nobody has this very problem with cforms right now :( .. in the meantime I was searching for causes, even did a fresh wp-install on a different server, freshly installed the cforms plugin there and imported all the cforms data including the forms from the other site.

 

same problem exists there, so it cannot be a problem of abspath and/or htaccess, but maybe rather that cforms messed up some entries while creating the forms on the old site, somewhere around form number 293 …I tried to read the exported data and database entries (cforms_options) but am not getting anywhere with this.

 

when I'm clicking on 'duplicate form', the newly duplicated form is shown as stated above.. when clicking on update settings, it still just disappears – BUT when clicking 'duplicate form' twice (before the newly duplicated form has been updated/saved), at least the new form stays visible in the forms list, but again is not updateable!!

 

appreciate ANY help or ideas of what might have caused this behaviour or a possible fix.

Hi,

Have you found a Solution !.

I am Having the same problem with my Cform plugin.I have only 30 forms.But each form has 60 fields.When i duplicate the form with 60 fields it goes to the default form page and shows this error message

 and the duplicated form is not saved.

 

The default form with 4 fields can be duplicated and saved.What is the issue in here?Please Guide me.
