Help with Visitor Verification
April 26, 2007

Hello, I'm having trouble setting up visitor verification on my form.

I started a new fieldset labelled Visitor Verification Question and have a text-only explanation below that. Visitor Verifiaction isn't coming up in the drop down "type" box next to field name. The only options are "check box", "single line" etc.

Please help. What am I doing wrong?

By the sounds of it, you're doing everything right. Certain input fields can only be used once, but if you haven't already included a Visitor Verification Field then there should be one for you to select.

  1. You could try to delete the form and start with a new from scratch.
  2. If this is the default form, you could try to remove all cforms data (Global Settings, deactivate and reactivate the plugin
  3. Or make a backup of the form and copy/paste the content of the input field definitions here and I'll take a look
  4. Or post the URL of the form and I'll take a look ;)
