I realize this is a somewhat redundant post, but wanted to just note my recent problem solution here since it was of my own causing and may occur fairly often.
What happened in my case is I installed Cforms 10.5 and then tested it and it all worked fine.
A few weeks later I just did a spot check on the email form and got the error of it hanging after the submit.
What had happened in the meantime is I had changed the location of my blog (from myblog.site.com/article to myblog.site.com. I missed it since I tested everything on the old location and then migrated to the new location.
In this case you will need to update two files:
first the abspath.php
then the js/cforms.js
After updating these two files to adjust for the new location everything is working fine!
thanks for a great plug-in!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS THREAD!!! I had the same issue and didn't think about the fact that I had moved from one domain to another when I launched this website live.
THANKS – big and easy fix
Could you tell me what the abspath.php should be? I think mine is wrong but I don't know what to change it to, and I could not find an answer in the FAQs or forum.
