I've got my site hang and shows blank screen after submitted a comment. this happen after i upgrade from 10.1 to 10.4.1 (patch) version. do you have any advise how to resolve this? thanks in advance. Cheers
Yes, I too have just upgraded to 4.1 and the contact forms hang after submitting. I see the "one moment please" but nothing else happens. Your help is greatly appreciated.
I followed the instructions in the FAQ and first added /public_html to the front of the path to the lib_ajax.php file then put the full link there, but no help.
Interesting, I have other instances of cforms on other sites running the same version of cforms with, at a minimum, the same plugins, all on the same server, operating just fine, and they do not require the same direct link.
In this case, I have rebooted my computer, cleared cache, made sure there was no other instance of cforms running, the the form still hung at 'one moment …".
Can you be a little more specific on which file I should rename, then where the instances of that file will happen so I can change those files?
Looking into that file, lib_aux.php, I found only one instance of db( and in cforms.php, very many. No changes to database file names required? I will try the change you suggest.
OK, I think I follow you. But I notice in the error message, the first part, it states "previously declared in …" "in …", where in the previously section it mentioned another database all together, same server, different site. This must be the underlying issue.
I have placed all files back to the beginning. I have a corrected set of files also, but after correcting all the errors and getting the form to work, browsing the form throws some fatal messages on screen about cformRSS, in files outside cform files. And browsing the link above gives a different error also related to cformsRSS.
Reverting back to 10.4 does not correct the issue.
I placed the 10.4.1 patches back to the server on both sites and the form hangs as previous AND the link above produces the same error where you can see the 2 different databases by name.
Perhaps I can correct what went wrong here to correct the root of the issue, have any thoughts how I screwed things up?
Pardon me while I go wipe this flushed red look from my face and apologize to you heavily for wasting your time. In generating the abspath file, I uploaded a version for one site to the other, causing the error.
Do you mind please deleating the links above to my site and site references, now that this event is over?
