[desc]: _ Hi, I'm getting this message when I try to 'Download Records': Error 500 – Internal server error
It was working before without any issues; any suggestions on where the MySQL setting might have gone wrong. It's also working in another blog that I have.
I also try upgrading to the current version 8.7; still the same error. WP version is 2.51.
Thanks.

Can you 'View' all records?
Can you backup your DB, and reset the cforms tables (via global settings) and then try downloading after a few test entries to see if the tables have been corrupted?
Afterwards you can redeploy the cforms tables again.

Hi, thanks so much for replying.
I was able to view all records (thx god is all there); I was also able to download the file directly from the MySQL database. However, I don't know how to structure the table like the ones in "download records"; I can only download the database in rows of ungrouped data.
"reset the cforms tables (via global settings)"; is that uncheck and check "Database Input Tracking"? I did that; still the same error when 'download records'. Then I add another entry; the form collected into the database without problems. But still the same 'download records' error.
Again, thx for your help.

If you have made a (SQL) backup of your cforms tables, you can delete them via the Delete button under global-settings (look under Database tracking). This is to start afresh and see if the tables were corrupted at some point.
Not sure what would cause the 500 error.
Have you tried selecting just on record and downloading that one?
How many forms to you have, have the names/numbers changed?

This is interesting… 'download records' works when records were selected.
But, I have close to 600 records + more coming; selecting them 1 at a time can be a bit tedious; any suggestions on how to select them all? Thanks.

If you don't select any records, then "all are selected". Kinda counter intuitive but this is how it works.
Perhaps the error appears because you already have too many records and your server/script chokes on those.
Try using the magnifier at the bottom to apply some filters (date, email, form etc) and then without selecting anything further hit download, which should download the batch you just filtered.
