I found a bug for the email field. If I specify that the email field is required and is an email address, then the user can just enter name and comment without getting any of your error messages. You can go to my web site's contact form to reproduce the error. The user only get the error message from wp-comments-post.php.
For the field name, I would like to put
Name (required)|your name|???
where ??? is the regular expression to say that the user input should not be "your name". I am not familiar with regular expression. Can you tell me what it should be?
How do I make all the fields in the form to have borders? If you go to my contact form, you will see that only the top border is shown for each field and the left, right and bottom borders are not shown.

That bug is already identified and fixed in v6.4 (I'll send you a copy if you need it right away). The bug only shows after the first submission attempt, the field then looses the 'required' status.
There are great repexp repositories out there by the way, here is what I would do:
Name (required)|your name|^(?!.*your name)
You can change the look and feel of your form(s) via CSS, see the HELP page, the Styling page and this link.
Thank you for answering my questions. Yes, please email me v6.4. When will it be released?
