QuoteI have reviewed all options and can't see a way of resolving the following issue:
many users that complete our form input the WRONG email address – this means that when we try and reply to their enquiry we cannot….
I would like to insert email verification where the user needs to put in their address twice and then from this have the form verify that the two inputs are the same and proceed to submit else request to re-enter email address.

I have exactly problem with this user, can someone help me out here?
So basically I need user to enter their email address twice and check it whether it matches before they submit the form.
How can i address this.

Well David, Paul is right, it's in the Help section.
Now if you or asparagus can't be bothered to read, then of course Paul shouldn't have given the answer.
Hint: Next time simply state that you don't want to read, this helps to narrow down possible answers.

It is not clear in the help section so I don't understand why someone cant just be helpful.

Maybe thay are experimentin same problem as me, since i updated WordPress 3.4.2. and cforms 10.6, i used the old method i used 'Confirmar Email||cf2_field_23' when field 23 is named 'Email', and the form keep showing the same error, i even tried 'Confirmar Email||Email' activating custom IDs but nothing happens.

The way to address your form's input data via {variables} hasn't changed, they still should either reflect the exact label string, a custom ID (if chosen) or the field number.
from the Help section:

{field label}
|
With field label being the exact field label as it is being tracked and sent in the admin email! |
|
{XYZ}
|
In case you're using the custom input field NAMES & ID's, the reference is the id: of the field. |
|
{_fieldNN}
|
With NN being the position of the field on the form configuration page. |
