E-mails sending to admin twice per submit

Do you have any idea why the form admin would be receiving the same e-mail twice per form submission? Using cforms II ver. 540 with WordPress 2.3.

Production environment:
FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE
Apache/1.3.34 (Unix)
PHP/4.4.4

I wasn't experiencing this problem on my development server.

Development environment:
Windows NT 5.1 build 2600
Apache/2.2.4 (Win32)
PHP/5.2.3

Other than that problem, the plugin works great!

  • Only one form admin e-mail address is configured.
  • The headers are not exactly identical. Date, Message-Id, and X-UIDL differ; although, Date only differs by about three seconds.
  • I've tried a local e-mail address and a Gmail address.
  • Yes, the problem occurs with AJAX disabled, too.

I just learned that the problem only occurs when I use the form, hinting that the problem might be specific to my IP. Hrm… I'm guessing that this problem is caused server-side.
